ATL | Protective Skills Workshop
Presented by Offshore Kinetics & Black Flag International
Four days of focused training designed for protective professionals who want to strengthen their skills, expand their network, and train alongside experienced operators.
September 17–20, 2026
Atlanta, Georgia
Enrollment is limited to 36 team members.

Protective professionals are expected to perform in dynamic environments where preparation, communication, and decision-making under pressure matter.
Yet many operators rarely have the opportunity to train in an environment where multiple instructors, perspectives, and operational experiences come together.
The ATL | Protective Skills Workshop was created to close that gap.
For four days, operators train together, exchange experience, and sharpen practical skills alongside instructors from Offshore Kinetics and Black Flag International.

Training That Reflects
Real-World Operations
Protective professionals often operate in dynamic environments where preparation and discipline are essential.
This workshop focuses on developing skills that translate directly into operational environments.
Training includes:
-
Pistol fundamentals and performance
-
Reduced-light firearms training
-
Trauma response and bleeding control
-
Protective movement and motorcade procedures
-
Team-based exercises
-
Operational mindset and professional accountability
-
ATAK/iTAK Intergration
Each workshop maintains a consistent training framework while incorporating guest instructors and industry partners.
No two workshops are exactly the same.

Medical Readiness
Day 2 of the retreat includes a dedicated Stop the Bleed and trauma response training block led by Dan Simmons of Black Flag International.
Participants will train using their Offshore Kinetics–branded Stop the Bleed kits produced by North American Rescue.
Each participant will leave the retreat with both the knowledge and equipment necessary to respond to life-threatening bleeding incidents.

Professional Development
Success in the protective industry requires more than technical skill.
Participants will also receive instruction on marketing and personal branding for protective professionals, helping them:
-
Position themselves professionally
-
Build credibility within the industry
-
Expand their professional network
-
Leverage training and experience for career opportunities

Stay at the Team House
Operators attending the retreat have the option to stay in the Team House.
The team house creates a shared environment where operators train together during the day and regroup in the evenings to decompress, exchange experience, and continue the conversations that don’t happen on the range.
Some of the most valuable moments of the retreat happen after the training day ends — when instructors and operators sit down together and talk through lessons learned, operational experiences, and real-world scenarios.
Team House Includes:
-
Lodging for the duration of the retreat
-
Shared meals with the team
-
Informal evening discussions with instructors and operators
-
A chance to build relationships with fellow professionals in the field
Only 9 team house spots are available.
If you want the full retreat experience, secure your spot early.

The Fall 2026 ATL | Protective Skills Workshop is presented in collaboration with Black Flag International and supported by experienced instructors from across the protective industry.
Guest instructors bring diverse operational backgrounds including:
-

This collaborative environment allows operators to learn from multiple perspectives and real-world experience.

Optional Pre-Retreat Training
1-Day
Combined Arms
Course
September 16, 2026
Operators arriving early have the option to step onto the range for Combined Arms Day before the workshop officially begins.
This focused training day reinforces practical firearms performance and allows operators to sharpen their fundamentals before the retreat starts.
